How do I wear a poncho when cycling?
Wearing a bike poncho can be a practical way of protecting yourself from the rain or wind when cycling. Here are a few steps on how to wear a bike poncho properly:
1) Put the poncho on over your head: open the poncho and place it over your head, making sure that the front and back are aligned. The arm openings should be on the sides.
2) Clip the strap around your waist to prevent the poncho from flying off as you pedal.
3) Pass your arms through the straps on the front of the poncho, to extend the poncho over the front of the handlebars and over your legs.
4) Adjust the hood: If your poncho has a hood, adjust it so that it fits snugly over your head and doesn't restrict your field of vision. You can also secure it with the drawstrings, if fitted, so that it stays in place while you ride.
