History of the brand

Lezyne was founded on 1 March 2007, by industry icon (and German native) Micki Kozuschek. At the height of his career as a professional triathlete, Kozuschek founded Maxcycles and imported high quality, affordable bikes and clothing to the German market. Shortly after moving to the United States, Kozuschek founded Truvativ, which has become a leading manufacturer of original and resale bicycle components. In 2004, Kozuschek sold Truvativ to SRAM and began a two-year hiatus from the bike industry to focus on building his dream home and spending time with his family.
