The history of the brand

Like all good ideas, the story of Poupoupidou begins with a problem to solve. Marc, while cycling with his wife Céline, noticed that she was holding her skirt while passing passers-by. So he looked for an accessory that would allow her to pedal more freely in her skirt, but found nothing on the market. By tinkering with a clothes peg glued to an aquarium magnet, he managed to create the first prototype of Poupoupidou. Through testing and a crowdfunding campaign, he developed the final product and even won a silver medal at the Lépine competition in 2015.

Today, the brand offers this invention to many bicycle riders. The latter is made with quality products and entirely made in France. What's more, the assembly and packaging of the product is entirely carried out in a sheltered workshop.

This is the flagship product of the Poupoupidou brand that you can find in our shop! You just have to pinch the skirt in the clothes peg provided for this purpose and to come and magnetize the device on the metal rail of the saddle. The skirt is thus held in place and does not hinder movement. More than just keeping the garment in place, this device also allows you to move around more safely, without having to worry about your skirt flying off and trying to hold it in place as you move on. What's more, there's no risk of getting stuck as the magnetic solution can be easily detached without any specific manipulation if the situation requires it!
