Bike Citizens was founded as BikeCityGuide in 2011 by two bike couriers Daniel Kofler and Andreas Stückl. Soon, the company grew to employ over 25 people and opened a second office in Berlin. Starting with a simple city bike navigation app and a smartphone bike mount, the company now focuses on bike promotion, app technology and data analysis for cyclists in the city.
Bike Citizen's philosophy? Freedom, independence and health! That is the attitude that cyclists wear everywhere in the city. Bike Citizen's goal is to give users the opportunity to help transform cities through a growing bike culture. We support the approach!
