History of the brand

Founded in 1880, at the same time as the Presta valve that you may have on your bike to keep your tyres inflated, Zéfal has been at the origin of numerous bicycle innovations for 140 years. Today, the brand has become a veritable French cultural and industrial heritage, perpetuating the same philosophy of excellence for several generations. Developed by cycling enthusiasts, Zéfal products are designed, tested and, for the most part, manufactured in their factory in Jargeau, near Orléans.
