As you can see, this pan folds up. In addition, thanks to an ingenious device, the flame of the stove is maintained under the bottom (unlike a traditional pot where the heat of the flame is lost on the sides). Heat loss is eliminated and it is no longer necessary to add a windscreen. The hyper-conductive aluminum offers better performance and cooking is 30% more efficient than on another bivy pan.
And of course, the GSI pan is perfectly thought out in other ways: the lid acts as a colander while the silicone thumb pads insulate your hands from heat. Silicone-molded graduations make measuring easy. Two lockable handles on either side of the pan offer comfort when handling.

Brand History
Initially? Three siblings, Don, Ian and Kathy Scott, who believe that food brings people together, supports exploration and, mysteriously, always tastes better when cooked and eaten in the open. Passionate since 1985 about good outdoor cooking, natural escapades and culinary requirements are one and the same, they founded the GSI brand to offer bicycle touring and bivouac lovers a range of practical, durable and easily transportable utensils!
Kitchen sets, stoves, collapsible pans... each piece of equipment is of impeccable quality. Very solid, GSI utensils do not break at the slightest blow, and can be taken anywhere.
