What could be more annoying than discovering a flat tyre just as you are about to set off or in the middle of your journey? With a puncture repair kit at hand, it is then possible to repair your wheel to continue using your bike (and avoid being late). Indeed, a flat wheel does not necessarily mean that the inner tube has to be changed, sometimes a simple repair is enough.

The Oxford puncture repair kit has a super glue, abrasive paper, chalk and 6 patches of different sizes. To use it, simply dismantle the wheel and remove the tyre, locate the leak and mark the outline of the leak with chalk. Then the sandpaper will make the area less smooth for better adhesion of the glue. The glue can then be applied and 4 to 5 minutes later the patch can be placed. The pressure should be maintained for about 2 minutes and the tyre will be as good as new! All that's left to do is reassemble the wheel, re-inflate it and you're back on the road without any problems!
