Guide Michelin

When you are looking for a quality guide to give or to treat yourself, the Michelin Travel Partner brand is the one to choose! While the reputation of the Michelin Guide is well established, the company specialises in travel and access to mobility in general. Cycling is therefore one of the modes of transport recommended in the brand's guides for discovering new countries. Michelin Travel Partner is therefore a perfect brand for cyclists who want to discover new cities, but also to venture into the countryside.

The history of the brand

Michelin Travel Partner is a subsidiary of the renowned Michelin Group. Its objective is to make a lasting contribution to the progress of mobility with safety and pleasure. To this end, Michelin Travel Partner was created in 2011 as a result of the merger of Michelin Cartes et Guides and ViaMichelin. The aim of this brand is to accompany travel and journeys by making them as accessible as possible. Michelin Travel Partner publishes several guides, including the famous Michelin Guide to gastronomy, as well as guides to be used before, during and after a trip, especially when cycling.

Our product selection

If the guides published by Michelin Travel Partner are highly prized for their accuracy and ease of use, it is of course the guide dedicated to cycling that caught our attention. Our choice was the "52 weekends by bike in France" guide. It contains 52 itineraries that can be covered in a weekend and which are an opportunity to discover the most beautiful parts of France. It's an opportunity to travel at your own pace and in a more eco-responsible way to discover our beautiful country!

For each itinerary, the Michelin Travel Partner guide specifies the level of difficulty, the number of kilometres, practical information, places of interest to see along the way and, of course, the accommodation and restaurants available on the route. Organising a weekend is therefore much easier if you opt for this guide, which is perfect for preparing a cycling trip with friends, family, a couple or even on your own, depending on what you want!

Why does it fit with JE SUIS À VÉLO?

If facilitating the velotaf and the use of the bicycle in everyday life is our first objective, the use of the bicycle to discover new regions and to go for a weekend ride is also very important to us. It is not always easy to organise when you don't know the region, so the guides published by Michelin Travel Partner are essential for us. They are a perfect opportunity to try out cycle tourism with practical advice to make the most of your weekend or holiday!
